In 2023, we collaborated with the Family Connector Project. Our goal was simple. We wanted to bring drama directly into primary schools across Cumbria.
We developed original workshops for Key Stage 2 pupils. The focus moved beyond simple acting games. Pupils learned devising techniques and professional performance skills. They practiced team building in a structured, creative environment.
The results were clear. Teachers reported a boost in confidence among the students. Quiet children found their voices. The workshops increased engagement with the arts and proved that creativity belongs in every classroom.
