Twelfth Night

Carlisle needed a return to culture after the COVID lockdowns. We staged this production at Carlisle Cathedral’s stunning, historic fratry. The setting provided a perfect backdrop for a story about separation and reunion.

We partnered with Whistling Crew Productions Co. to bring this vision to life. The production merged the classical text with modern energy. You saw bold projections light up the historic stone walls. Original live music drove the narrative forward.

The show explored themes of identity, gender, and cyberbullying. It remained funny and romantic while speaking to a contemporary audience. The production received massive acclaim and proved that Shakespeare still speaks to Cumbria.
